The Skoltech Colloquium was established in September 2013 with the intent to bring together people of diverse backgrounds and different perspectives to engage with faculty and students at Skoltech in a way designed to promote the cross-fertilization of ideas. Consistent with this mission, Skoltech invites the world leading scientists to talk on the topic of their expertise. Speakers are selected from many different disciplines and areas and asked to aim at a general audience during at least the first 20 minutes of their talk before moving to a more specialized part of their presentation. The expected audience consists of the Skoltech Master and PhD students, faculty and research staff. We also invite faculty, researchers and students from other universities and research centers . The Colloquium is increasingly taking on an international and cross-cultural flavor—with speakers coming from all around the world.
The Skoltech Colloquium is administered by the Office of Faculty Affairs and is coordinated by
