How to Apply

The application process for a Planning Grant requires a single Planning Grant proposal.

The Planning Grant proposal consists of a five-page proposal that describes the problem being addressed. Proposals must address one of the five stated areas of interest or cross-cutting research and establish a plan for research inspired by consideration of use. The Planning Grant proposal should describe the problem being addressed by the proposed Center for Research, Education and Innovation (CREI). It should make a case for both the scientific and technological goals of the CREI. Theproposal should also specifically address the nature and magnitude of the impact of the proposed CREI. Each Planning Grant proposal submission should also include a one page biography of every faculty member participating in the CREI proposal.
