Dear colleagues and students of Skoltech,
We understand and empathize that the recent and on-going events are a significant concern to many of you and your families. We are following the developments, like everyone else, very closely to ensure that we will manage and mitigate any possible impact this geopolitical situation may have on our institute’s mission, operation and reputation.
Despite these tremendously challenging days and weeks to come, our long-term mission and plans do not change at Skoltech. The pursuit of knowledge knows no boundaries. The pursuit of scientific and innovation excellence knows no boundaries. International cooperation and collaboration will continue to be an integral part of how we achieve our goals, together.
Skoltech represents what is best about Russian and international academic excellence because we are colleagues from Russia and over 45 countries, working together, every day, to educate, inspire and support the next generation of open and dynamic minds. In our short existence of ten years, we have overcome different types of challenges and we believe we have the fortitude and patience to see us all through this period.
We understand and respect that many of you have questions that require answers as it applies to your departments or, individual circumstances. We will not take any immediate or rash decisions until we are in full command of the facts. We will communicate with you to ensure you are kept abreast of the developing situation and we will address your concerns, in timely fashion.
