Compact low-temperature electro-optical imaging setup

An optical module for electrically pumped micro-luminescence sources at liquid nitrogen temperatures. The setup consists of Linkam THMS600 compact cryostat which allows reflective and transmission micro-optical studies of samples under electrical (Keysight 33500B waveform generator) or optical (Coherent Chameleon tunable Ti:Saph laser) excitation. The cryostat is installed onto a XYZ translation stage that allows precise sub-micrometer positioning. A built-in optical microscope allows coupling of the photoluminescence into an optical fiber or a free-space CCD camera.

Excitation: Optical pump 400-800nm with pulse width of 150 fs, electrical pump <10v with=”” pulse=”” width=””>20ns

Microscope magnification: X200

Temperature: -195°C to 600°C
