Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. We are pleased to announce that First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Ksenia Yudaeva will be the Commencement Speaker at the Skoltech 2019 commencement ceremony on June 28, 2019.

Prior to taking office as the First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia in September 2013, Yudaeva had risen through the ranks from a leading researcher with the Russian-European Center for Economic Reforms to Chief of the Experts’ Directorate at the Presidential Administration.

Yudaeva also worked as chief economist at Sberbank and scientific supervisor at the Center for Strategic Research (CSR). From August 2012 to September 2013, she served as the President’s representative for the affairs of the advanced economies’ group and relations with G20 leaders.

A graduate of MSU Economics Department and NES, Yudayeva earned a PhD degree in Economics from MIT in 1998.
