Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The Founders supported Skoltech Strategy 2021-2025

The General Meeting of the Founders of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology has made a unanimous decision to support Skoltech Strategy 2021-2025.

The Strategy’s key priorities include enhancing Skoltech’s impact on the national economy through implementing applied research results, licensing technologies, creating new companies, and building a reputation of a top choice university in Russia for gifted BSc, MSc and PhD students. Skoltech aims to become a recognized national think tank of technology expertise in priority areas and an integrator of large-scale national programs and initiatives.

Herman Gref, CEO, Chairman of the Executive Board of SberBank: “Last year, Sber and Skoltech signed a strategic partnership agreement to pursue joint educational and research projects, and established a Machine Learning applied research laboratory. We are deeply interested in and wish to be a part of the advanced development of Skoltech as one of the country’s innovation hubs. Sber appreciates the application-focused approach underlying the Skoltech Strategy 2021–2025 which can become a powerful driver for high technology entrepreneurship in Russia.”
