Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Skoltech graduates at Commencement

Over 250 Master’s graduates and 36 PhD graduates at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology celebrated the completion of their studies at a commencement ceremony which took place in a hybrid format due to COVID-19. The graduates were addressed by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia and Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation Board of Trustees.

“Skoltech is an academic institution of a special kind that provides everything necessary for promising scientists and inventors — the people who will determine the future of our science and create groundbreaking technologies and services. You are certainly well aware of that by now,” noted Medvedev, who took part in the first June 2015 Commencement of the university that turns 10 this year.

“Right now, each of you has their own special path and plans. I honestly believe in your knowledge, talent, energy, and commitment. I have no doubt you will achieve much, much more in the time to come,” Medvedev added.
