The Laboratory of Nanomaterials conducts world-class research in the synthesis and investigation of carbon nanomaterials, as well as their applications in transparent and flexible electronics, optoelectronics, photoelectronics, and photonics. The Laboratory ranks among the leading research centers worldwide and offers a unique environment for intensive interdisciplinary studies and fruitful international collaboration.

  • Synthesis of carbon nanomaterials — carbon nanotubes, nanoparticles, graphene, metal oxide nanowires by chemical vapor deposition
  • Applications of nanomaterials in transparent, flexible, and stretchable electronics;

  • Development of chemical sensors and multisensor gas analysis systems;
  • Design of multifunctional composites with enhanced properties (mechanical strength, high electrical and thermal conductivity, self-sensing and self-healing capabilities);
