Researchers from the Intelligent Space Robotics Laboratory at the Skoltech Engineering Center presented two papers at ICRA 2026 (IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation) — the flagship conference in robotics with an A* academic ranking (Core Rank).

HIPPO-MAT: robot swarm self-allocates tasks without central control via Graph Neural Networks (GNN) and Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning.

Publications in the ICRA program demonstrate the laboratory's contribution to advancing autonomous navigation and swarm intelligence methods. Both works target practical applications ranging from infrastructure inspection to coordinating groups of unmanned vehicles in complex environments.
