The HapticVLM system transforms what cameras see into tangible sensations. It identifies materials of objects and their surrounding temperature to generate haptic feedback vibrations and thermal sensations. This marks an important advance towards more realistic virtual reality experiences and assistive technologies for people.

For drones, he introduced the NMPC-Lander system. The algorithm enables autonomous and safe landing on moving platforms with exceptional precision. One module calculates the optimal trajectory while another ensures collision avoidance with other drones. Testing revealed remarkable results: landing accuracy within 9-11 cm, three times better than current methods! Applications include drone ports as well as delivery directly from moving cargo trucks or trains.
