Professor: Evgeny Nikolaev

Zherebker Alexander graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Chemistry department at 2012 and started his Ph.D. in the laboratory of natural humic system with Professor Irina Perminova. His thesis was devoted to the application of high-resolution mass-spectrometry to explore molecular features of Natural Organic Matter. In order to extend information obtaining by mass-spectrometry, he developed approaches of selective isotopic labeling of backbone carbon and functional groups in individual compartments of humic substances. Alexander published a series of papers on his research in high-rank journals. He worked in a project with prof. Patrick Hatcher in Norfolk, the USA as a visiting researcher. His achievements were marked by international humic substances society with training and travel awards. Alexander defended his thesis in 2017 in the field of organic chemistry.

Alexander participated as a performer and as a leader in different research projects on high-resolution mass-spectrometry as well as analysis, classification, and medical application of humic substances.
