Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The faculty is comprised of current researchers with international accreditation and achievements.

About our students

Skoltech students are graduates of leading Russian universities such as MIPT, BMSTU, Moscow State University, Federal Universities and others.

Our students take two-year Master programs, which also include training at leading international universities – MIT, Imperial College London, the University of Hong Kong and others. The MSc programs 2019 are Advanced Manufacturing and Materials, Data Science, Energy Systems, Information Science and Technology, Life Sciences, Mathematical and Theoretical Physics, Materials Science, Photonics and Quantum Materials,  Space and Engineering Systems, and Petroleum Engineering.  Besides the disciplinary and theoretical frameworks within each program, students are offered a special training course for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, where they learn how to implement technological ideas and choose a relevant business model for a successful market launch. It is important to note that all educational courses at Skoltech are conducted in English. That is why Skoltech students have no language barrier in collaborating with the international research and academic community.
