The first 20 pilot students spent the 2012-13 school year at one of four leading universities: ETH Zurich, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Imperial College London, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At these universities, the students learned critical skills necessary for innovation and the calibre of study necessary to compete at the international level. This coming year, the students will study at the Skolkovo Innovation Center, implementing best practices and academic culture from their experiences abroad.
President Edward Crawley will open the ceremony and award certificates for the students’ completion of their first year. He will also recognize them for their dedication to developing the university. Following the ceremony, the students will gather for a reception.
