Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The faculty is comprised of current researchers with international accreditation and achievements.

Academic Mobility

Each student has the opportunity to participate in academic mobility, from short programs, such as international conferences or summer schools, to long-term visits to partner host universities to conduct research or take courses.

Short-term academic trips:

A short-term academic trip is a student trip with a duration of 1 to 30 days to participate in scientific events (conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, etc.).

Long-term academic trips:

A long-term academic trip – is a student’s trip with a duration of duration of 1 up to 4 months to conduct research for MSc Thesis at an international institution.

The selection process for long-term academic mobility trips is competitive and the number of slots is limited. The Education Office will organize a grant competition for international long-term academic mobility trips for MSc students. Applicants will be required to present their academic mobility projects in front of the Committee for further selection.

Who can apply: MSc students apply for long-term academic trips beginning in autumn-winter of the 2nd year of study. Application is announced after Term 2.
