Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. What is Eurobot ?
An amazing event gathering fun, high technology, friendship, creativity, education and passion! Created in 1998, Eurobot is an international amateur robotics contest open to teams of young people, organized either in student projects or in independent clubs.
What has to be done?
To participate in the competition the team needs to design and make two autonomous robots. The robots must complete specific tasks in a minute and 30 seconds and earn maximum points. At the same time the team must solve a number of specific tasks and to complete a full cycle of development and production of the robot.” For further information visit: http://www.eurobot.org/
This year competition theme is “The Beach bots”. Robots will go fishing, build sandcastles, sunbathe and even more!
The National stage of Eurobot 2016 will take place in April, while the Final stage of the competition will take place in May.

Skoltech Eurobot Team consists of six Master’s students from Russia and Serbia representing Skoltech Intelligent Space Robotics Lab directed by Dzmitry Tsetserukou. Team’s mentor is Alexey Gonnochenko, experienced Robotics engineer from Skolkovo IT cluster.
