Skoltech has taken part in the 3rd International Forum on Innovations in Energy ‘NEWGEN – Future Energy’, held in the Forum Hall, Moscow, on 26–27 March 2014.
Senior analyst at Skoltech Ivan Bogdanov attended the round table ‘New Competencies for New Energy Industry’ and spoke on the theme ‘Skoltech: The World’s Best Practices for Training Engineers’.
“Building upon the experience of the world’s leading universities, Skoltech is launching the training programmes which combine both a technical and an entrepreneurial component. This is a unique feature for the Russian reality, and it makes the graduates of Skoltech highly competitive in the Russian and international labour market,” said Ivan Bogdanov.
The key events held in the framework of the international conference included discussions on the implementation and application of innovative technologies, equipment and materials in the energy industry.
The ‘NEWGEN – Future Energy’ Forum was conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and Rosatom. This year’s Forum brought together more than 50 leading Russian and foreign speakers, with over 600 delegates taking part in the discussions. More than 50 Russian and foreign companies implementing innovative projects in the energy industry showcased their achievements at the exhibition.
