Skoltech and prof. Oganov launches the intensive Chemistry course for school students (Grades 9-11). The course will take place at Skoltech during school winter break, 18-22 February 2019.

This course isn’t preparation for school exams or tutoring. Participants will learn how to predict the crystal structure of materials, as well as methods describing crystal structures to predict the properties of crystals, and use the USPEX method developed by Oganov’s laboratory to predict stable crystal structures.

You will have to devote all of your time between 11 am until 5 pm to the course.

The program includes: theoretical lectures, practical exercises on computers and lab tours.
