On August 19-23, 2019, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Marchuk Institute of Numerical Mathematics (INM RAS) and Huawei Technologies will hold the 5th International Conference on Matrix Methods in Mathematics and Applications (MMMA-2019) at Skoltech.
Nowadays, matrix methods constitute the basis of modern numerical mathematics, computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, and many other basic and applied fields of science. New accomplishments in this area can make a big difference for researchers, engineers and businesses alike.
MMMA-2019 will be co-chaired by Director of INM RAS and Full Member of RAS, Evgeny Tyrtyshnikov, and Skoltech Professor, Ivan Oseledets. Leading active researchers from Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the United States and other countries will congregate at Skoltech to address the latest advances in basic and applied research into matrix methods, numerical linear algebra, and tensor decompositions, and present their new findings and high-impact applied research results. The conference will also connect academia and industry to share views on the challenges and achievements in the subject area.
