Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The faculty is comprised of current researchers with international accreditation and achievements.

South Korean Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki Visits Skoltech

Earlier today, Deputy Prime Minister of South Korea Hong Nam-ki headed a delegation of high-ranking officials representing the Korean Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economics to Skolkovo Innovation Center and Skoltech. Members of the Korean Ministry of Science and Technology, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, and Korean diplomats were also a part of the delegation.

This is the first time that a Korean delegation has visited Skoltech, and during the visit the Deputy PM toured the Eastern Ring campus, visiting FabLab, and meeting with Innovation Workshop student groups who talked about their projects. Minister Hong was also given a presentation about Skoltech, its mission, who we are, and what we teach at our Institute.

The visit is part of a tour of Russia and earlier this month, the Deputy PM attended the 5th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok and the 18th meeting of the Korea-Russia Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
