Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The faculty is comprised of current researchers with international accreditation and achievements.

High-ranking officials from Singaporean government visit Skoltech’s Cyber-Physical Systems lab

Singapore’s Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, along with Senior Minister of State and Minister of Communications and Information Dr Janil Puthucheary (also head of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore), visited Skoltech today. The delegation met with Vice-President for Community Development and Communications Alexei Sitnikov, while touring the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab (headed by Professor Ighor Uzhinsky). Research scientist Sergei Nikolaev (Center for Design, Manufacturing and Materials) gave a presentation titled, “Gas Turbines Prescriptive Analytics”. This official visit is a mark of improving relations between Skoltech and Singapore’s government and of the Institute’s international standing.
