Technet summarizes technology solutions that crucially change industrial manufacture making it efficient, automated, and allowing for the digitization of all product turnover stages, from engineering to product application.

Today, Skoltech brought together specialists – an international consortium – working in the field of certification of advanced manufacturing products. The NTI project in question was the project titled, “Experimental and Digital Certification Platform,” otherwise known as Technet.

Iskander Akhatov began the meeting with a presentation giving an overview on the Skolkovo project and the Skoltech’s Center for Design and Manufacturing Materials. This was followed by short presentations by members of the group, and a discussion covering meeting issues.

The project began in December 2018 and is part of the Russian government’s drive to facilitate the development of digital design and modeling, new materials, additive technologies, and industrial Internet robotics, which are projected to be a high-value part of the future global economy.

“We are only really beginning, but I am excited about this project. I am glad to see everyone here, we will be glad to work with you, and there is nothing else like this in Russia at the moment.” – Sergey Kursakov, general director of the project lead “TESIS” Ltd.
