Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The faculty is comprised of current researchers with international accreditation and achievements.

The Independent Studies Period is the most unique and diverse period of teaching and learning. The ISP makes learning at Skoltech truly interdisciplinary, enhances a sense of Skoltech community and offers students, faculty and other members of Skoltech community a world of opportunities beyond their main areas of expertise.

The ISP-2020 is running through 13-31 January.

Four main focus areas for students to develop different skills and knowledge:

  1. Broadening Horizons –Beyond Profession
  2. Soft Skills Development
  3. Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I)
  4. Career Development

Short-term research and innovation projects.

More than 30 courses provided by Skoltech students, faculty, other members of community and external experts.
