Who rules in space?

At the tail-end of summer, we will be pleased to welcome you at the online talk, Who rules in space?, as part of the joint project of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) and the ARHE Cultural Center.

This past spring will definitely stick in our memory as the time of the pandemic, quarantine and change of plans. Yet, regardless of the weather or the virus, some plans did come through: at the end of May, the first private manned space vehicle, Crew Dragon, went up in space. This long-awaited historic event was watched by several million people online.

Antonina Gromyko, a project coordinator at the Skoltech Space Center, will talk about the public and private space sectors, major governmental space programs and space policies, the New Space, and short-term prospects for international space cooperation.

The talk will be equally insightful for those deeply immersed in astronomy or space engineering and a broader audience eager to learn more about the present and future of space exploration.

Speaker: Antonina Gromyko, a project coordinator at the Skoltech Space Center and a Master of Science in Space Policy.
