Skoltech is pleased to announce the registration for the Independent Studies Period – ISP-2021 which will run from 11 to 29 January 2021 in online format.

A  mandatory special term in the Academic Calendar, ISP is a unique and versatile learning experience that enhances the sense of community, while offering Skoltech students, faculty and other community members a world of opportunities beyond their main areas of expertise, that make learning at Skoltech truly interdisciplinary. What distinguishes ISP activities is their diversity, innovative spirit, and fusion of inspiration and learning.

Skoltech students are invited to acquire new knowledge and skills in four focus areas: Broadening Horizons – Beyond Profession, Soft Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I), and Career Development.

ISP offers around 40 courses delivered by Skoltech faculty, students, and other community members, as well as external experts.

The internal proposal from the Skoltech community includes courses in Financial Literacy and Personal Finance, Negotiation Games, Molecular and Mesoscale Simulations, and much more. Guest experts from Rutgers University, Weizmann Institute of Science and many other universities, along with successful entrepreneurs, will walk Skoltech students through a world of new exciting knowledge.
