Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech and the Moscow Government launch new educational projects

The School of New Technologies and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology launch a new joint project, SkQuiz. This intellectual competition for 7-10th graders consists of an interactive learning track from Skoltech experts and an intellectual team hackathon from the School of New Technologies.

SkQuiz is aimed at enhancing cognitive activity, knowledge, and motivation for learning.

The topics include Cyber Security (April), Digital Farming (May), and Computer Vision (June).

The School of New Technologies was founded by the Department of Education and Science and the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow.

On April 17, 8-11th graders are invited to attend a lecture on human brain evolution to be delivered by Skoltech professor Philipp Khaitovich as part of the University Saturdays program.

University Saturdays is an educational program launched by the Moscow Government in 2013 that guides high school and college students through the fascinating world of science and technology and helps them to decide which career to pursue. Professor Khaitovich’s lecture will be the first event within the University Saturdays at Skoltech, a new joint project of Skoltech and the Moscow Department of Education and Science which will include lectures, workshops and masterclasses on topics within Skoltech’s competence domains, as well as tours of the Skoltech Campus and labs.
