The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and IPG Photonics launch a new educational initiative within Skoltech’s Photonics Science and Engineering MSc program to engage students in the development of advanced laser technologies and manufacturing of laser systems leveraging basic science and application engineering. The students’ involvement in research and manufacturing will serve to reinforce IPG Photonics’ positions as the global leader in the market segment of fiber lasers and specific classes of laser systems and technologies.

Newly admitted Skoltech students will be invited to join the initiative and sign a trilateral agreement with IPG and Skoltech, entitling them to an enhanced stipend and guaranteed employment with IPG or employee-sponsored PhD studies.
