Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Atoms and materials science — what’s the connection? Find out the answer at the Skoltech online lecture, where Professor Artem Abakumov will talk about the development and design of new materials for energy storage and energy generation, as well as the role of modern transmission electron microscopy in the visualization of the structure of materials. And Skoltech PhD student Polina Morozova will talk about her experience of studying at the MSc and PhD courses at Skoltech, working in the laboratory, synchrotron experiments, practice at the Liotech and internship at MIT.
