On February 8, the Day of Russian Science, Skoltech has held the first Candidate of Sciences thesis defense session since it was entitled to independently award that degree.
Junior Research Scientist Anatolii Morozov from the Energy Center presented his thesis titled “Structural and Microstructural Aspects of Cathode Materials With Reversible Anionic Redox Activity for Metal-Ion Batteries” and supervised by Professor Artem Abakumov from the Energy Center.
The thesis board, headed by Professor Evgeny Nikolaev from the Bio Center, unanimously voted to award Anatolii a Candidate of Sciences degree in chemistry (1.4.15. Solid-state chemistry) and wished success in pursuing academic career.
We extend our congratulations to Anatolii Morozov and Professor Artem Abakumov.
