Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and gain entrepreneurial skills in English. The international Online School on Hybrid, Organic and Perovskite Photovoltaics (HOPE-PV 2020) ended on November 5. Photovoltaics that looks into the generation of electric current in materials exposed to light is a promising trend in the search for alternative energy sources.

This year, HOPE-PV has presented its Best Paper Awards to Skoltech PhD students, Marina Ustinova and Marina Teplyakova, a Skoltech research scientist, Aleksandra Boldyreva, and three 2nd year students studying under D.Mendeleev University and Skoltech’s joint undergraduate program, Ekaterina Dolzhikova, Maria Mikheeva, and Elizaveta Vaneeva.
