Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by the group of world-renowned scientists in 2011. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering Master's programs in 11 technological disciplines. The first STS Forum Russia-Japan Workshop

On November 17, 2020, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), supported by the Skolkovo Foundation, Russia’s leading development institutions and the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation, will host the first online Russia-Japan workshop within the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum).

For over 17 years, STS Forum has been a high-profile expert platform that brings together thought leaders from business circles, academic communities and public authorities to share insights on the “bright and dark sides of science and technology”. The workshop will look at the prospects of expanding the scope of cooperation between Russian and Japan, with emphasis on societal needs and, primarily, the ways of addressing COVID-19 and post-pandemic challenges. 

The workshop will be conducted in English only. The participants will have an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and communicate freely to one another in online mode.
