Creating a startup requires expertise in various fields: from technology and investment to team-building skills. It is necessary to combine a robust ideological part with a technological component to achieve success.

How do you find the right investor for your idea and build a dialogue with him? What kind of investors do startups need? Because an investor is something more than just a source of money. What does social entrepreneurship mean, and what are the advantages for business and society? We will also talk about building a corporate culture and selecting employees based on these values. Finally, we will discuss how to set goals for the team, delegate tasks and solutions, and why it is impossible to take all responsibility on yourself.

Ilya Elpanov is the co-founder of the online farm food delivery service “Esh Derevenskoye”. He graduated from Timiryazev Russian State Agricultural Academy and Slovak Agricultural University (SAU). He developed a SmartFox application that helps schoolchildren prepare for the Unified State Exam. With this project, he passed an acceleration program of the FRII Russian venture investment Fund. Ilya also led the logistics department at the Elementaree company (delivery of groceries with recipes). He is a holder of the First Generation Foundation Scholarship, winner of the GSEA 2019 Young Entrepreneurs Competition, a nominee of the Forbes “30 under 30″ ranking in 2020.
