Dr. Boris Gutman (Illinois Institute of Technology) together with Dr. Anatoly Buchin (Allen Brain Institute) will talk about computational neuroscience, Alzheimer’s disease and Epilepsy, their research and available open tools they use or/and develop.
This seminar will be particularly interesting for students and researchers!

New Year “A La Russe”, Students Party
DEAR STUDENTS!
Happy New Year! It is time to finally chill and party!
Skoltech Students New Year Party will be held on the 20th of December at 6 PM!
ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF ACTIVITIES IS WAITING FOR YOU:
Delicious food and drinks will be there!
Craft stations where you will be able to create a beautiful piece of art or a gift to special one!
Photozone. Come and find yourself in a “typical Russian house” with fire, wood and cozy atmosphere.
Performance. Three music groups with talented skoltechians will generate party mood. After that our great DJ make the show go on!
Cinema. In special lounge zone Christmas episodes from your favourite series will be shown. Feel the vibe on a big screen.

Gala ceremony, festive dinner, music, movie, dance, master classes and photo zones are expected.

SOLAR – Space-Oriented Learning for Americans and Russians
Do you want to participate in an exciting space adventure and attend a Space Camp and train like an astronaut? Do you want to go on a tour to Cape Canaveral? Do you want to learn the history of the first human spaceflight in the Star City in Russia?
If your answer is YES, go to the SOLAR program website to find out how to apply!
All American and Russian students aged 15-17 who attend a high school or a professional college are eligible.
The students selected for the program will take part in space history and STEM-related activities at historically important aerospace sites in the United States and Russia. They will benefit from space and engineering camps, interactive group activities, and site visits. The students will learn about the history of space exploration, and gain unique insights into American-Russian space cooperation.
The ‘SOLAR’ Program is a unique opportunity for young people interested in space and STEM to have a chance to discover more about the other country’s history of space exploration and honor the heroic achievement of Apollo-Soyuz.
The Skoltech Space Center is the organizer of the educational program in Moscow.
